​Coaching:

• Lead and supervise group coaching sessions

• Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor

• Demonstrate proper form and technique

• Ensure classes are effective, safe, and fun

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients to enhance their gym experience

• Promote all internal programs and events

• Execute opening and closing procedures

• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the facility

• Calmly and competently respond to emergency situations

• Participate and contribute to staff meetings and staff education events

• Actively engage in professional development and continuing education

• Ensure that all members get a great experience through promoting a very encouraging and warm environment

 

Other Duties:

• Assist in signing up new members that walk into the gym (waivers/memberships)

• Assist in merchandise sales (loading equipment/taking payment)

• Assist coaches when needed (setting up classes, cleaning up, closing, etc.)

• Promote sales of supplements, add-on/specialty classes, and personal training

• Perform other job duties that may arise or are deemed necessary
